Union fitness benefit
Most unions in Iceland reimburse members for part of their fitness and wellness costs — the líkamsræktarstyrkur. The líkamsræktarstyrkur (also called heilsustyrkur or íþróttastyrkur) is a benefit most Icelandic unions offer their members: a partial reimbursement of what you spend on fitness, swimming, yoga and other wellness. Amounts and rules differ between unions — for most, you simply submit a receipt. Check your entitlement on your union's website or in Frímann, the benefit portal many unions use.
