Workout plan

A plan for the month, a workout for today, and the soak after.

The membership that tells you what to do with it.

LifePass members get a workout plan of 4, 8 or 12 weeks built from their own answers, today's workout on the Home screen, a weekly check-in and a meal log that estimates a meal from a photo. Connect Apple Health and a short night makes today's session lighter. And the Coach picks a venue, a class or a hike for anyone with a LifePass account.

How it works

01

Choose a membership

Plans from 8,900 kr. per month, with no minimum commitment. Tracking and workout plans come with it, for members aged 18 and over.

02

Answer a few questions

In the Coach in the LifePass app on iOS: your goal and focus, the days you can train, where you like to train (gym, classes, pool or outdoors), how long the plan should run and anything to plan around. Add your weight and height for calorie targets, or skip that.

03

Open today's workout

Today's session is on your Home screen and in the Plan tab. Check in once a week, say how the sessions felt, and next week adjusts.

What you get

Any LifePass account

Coach picks: one plan from a few answers

Tell the Coach what you feel like doing, where, when, how long you have and how hard you want to go. You get one plan back: the right partner venue, a class you can book on the spot, or a hike or waterfall with the soak after at a partner pool or lagoon nearby.

  • Not quite right? Ask for somewhere closer, easier, harder, earlier, later or something else.
  • Every venue in the plan says whether it is included in your plan, or that a visit is paid, with the price where we have it.
  • The drive to the soak after a hike is a measured road time.
  • Without a membership or an active visitor pass you get 3 free Coach requests in any 30 days. Members and pass holders get 10 a day, and building a workout plan counts as one.

A plan for the month, and today's workout

Pick a goal and a focus, the days you can train, where you like to train (gym, classes, pool or outdoors), how long the plan runs (4, 8 or 12 weeks) and how much you have trained before. The plan is built from LifePass's own exercise library, with gym sessions, classes, swims, outdoor days and rest days. Tell it about an injury and it plans around that area.

  • Today's workout is on your Home screen with a Start button, and the Plan tab shows the exercises, the sets and the reps.
  • No energy today? Move the session to tomorrow, or skip it.
  • A workout day reminder at the time you choose (07:00 by default), which you can turn off under Body and goals. It names the session and its minutes, never a number from your body or your sleep.
  • Swap or skip an exercise, and rest between sets with a timer in the app.
  • Say how each session felt, and next week's sets and reps adjust. The last week of a block is lighter on purpose.
  • A class day has a Book a class button, and a hike day names the soak after with the drive in minutes.
  • Checking in at a gym, pool or studio on a matching day marks the session as done.
  • You can build up to 3 plans in any 30 days, including plans you discard.

A weekly check-in

Once a week, on Monday or Sunday at a time you choose, the app reminds you to log your weight and say how the week went. Then it shows your review: sessions done, your weight as a 7-day average rather than a single day's number, what you logged, and what changes next week. Every 12 weeks it asks you to confirm your height.

  • Skip the body details and you still get a plan, just without calorie targets.
  • Weigh-ins and the check-in also work in your account on lifepass.is.

Scan your meal

In the Scan tab, take a photo of your meal, scan a barcode or search for a food. The app estimates what is on the plate, shows calories as a range and protein, and you check and fix the amounts before you save. On lifepass.is you log meals by search, or add calories directly.

  • Every number is an estimate, and it says so. Photo estimates can be well off for mixed dishes, sauces and oils, so check the amounts.
  • The photo is made smaller on your phone and stripped of hidden details. Our server sends it to our AI provider, Anthropic, for that one estimate and discards it as soon as the estimate is back; Anthropic deletes it within 30 days under its standard retention (the Privacy Policy, Section 4.E, lists the exceptions). We keep only the list of foods and amounts, and a draft you never save is deleted after 30 days.
  • Up to 10 photo estimates a day.
  • Your day shows your meals, calories and protein so far, next to your target when you have one.

Apple Health, and a lighter day after a short night

Connect Apple Health and LifePass reads sleep, steps, active energy, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, weight and workouts, read only, as one summary a day. An Apple Watch works directly. Garmin, Oura, WHOOP, Polar and other watches, rings and scales work when their own app sends its data to Apple Health. LifePass has no direct connection to any of those makers.

  • After a short night, or when our recovery estimate is low, today's session is the lighter version: one set fewer per exercise. Nothing moves by itself.
  • A workout Apple Health recorded can mark today's session as done.
  • A weigh-in from a scale that syncs to Apple Health goes into your weight history, so the weekly check-in already has it.
  • You choose each data type on Apple's own permission screen, and you can disconnect under Body and goals, in the app or in your account on lifepass.is, and delete the stored summaries.
  • Nothing from Apple Health is sent to the AI.

Good to know

  • Workout plans, the meal scanner and Apple Health are in the LifePass app on iOS. The meal and weight log is also in your account on lifepass.is.
  • General fitness guidance, not medical advice. If you have a medical condition or an injury, take medication, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to a doctor before you start.
  • Nutrition values are estimates.
  • For members aged 18 and over.
  • Plans and meal estimates are made by our own rules and partly with AI, from our own exercise and food data, and they can be wrong. Nothing you type for a plan, and nothing from Apple Health, goes to the AI.
  • Your health data is never used for marketing and never shared with venues or your employer. Withdraw your consent and delete it in one step, in the app or in your account on lifepass.is.

Frequently asked questions

What is the LifePass workout plan?

A plan of 4, 8 or 12 weeks for using your membership: gym sessions, classes, swims, outdoor days and rest days, built from your answers by LifePass's own rules and exercise library, with today's workout on the Home screen of the LifePass app on iOS. It is general fitness guidance, not medical advice.

Who can use it?

Workout plans, the weekly check-in, the meal log and scanner and Apple Health come with an active LifePass membership, including the free trial and memberships an employer pays for, for members aged 18 and over. Visitor passes include the full Coach but not tracking. Coach picks work with any LifePass account: 3 free requests in any 30 days, or 10 a day with a membership or an active visitor pass.

Does it cost extra?

No. It is included with an active membership at no extra charge. Memberships start from 8,900 kr. per month, with no minimum commitment.

Where do I find it?

Workout plans, the meal scanner and Apple Health are in the LifePass app on iOS: download it from the App Store and sign in with your LifePass account. The meal and weight log, the weekly check-in and your tracking settings are also in your account on lifepass.is, under Body and goals.

How does the meal scanner work?

In the Scan tab, take a photo of your meal, scan a barcode or search. The app estimates the foods and amounts, shows calories as a range and protein, and you check everything before you save. The photo is made smaller on your phone, used for that one estimate and discarded by our server; Anthropic, our AI provider, deletes it within 30 days under its standard retention (the Privacy Policy, Section 4.E, lists the exceptions). Nutrition values are estimates, and you get up to 10 photo estimates a day.

Which watches and rings work with it?

LifePass reads from Apple Health on your iPhone, and only from Apple Health: sleep, steps, active energy, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, weight and workouts, the types you allow. An Apple Watch works directly. Watches, rings and scales from Garmin, Oura, WHOOP, Polar and other makers work when their own app sends its data to Apple Health. LifePass has no direct connection to any of them.

What happens to my health data?

Nothing is stored until you agree, in a separate step, to how we handle it. Plans and meal estimates are made with Anthropic, our AI provider, after we take out everything that says who you are: never your name, email, kennitala, exact weight, height or age, your location, anything you type for a plan, or anything from Apple Health. Coach chat is different: chat messages go to the AI as you write them and are not stored on our servers, so leave health details out of chat. We never use your health data for marketing and never share it with venues or your employer. Turn tracking off under Body and goals, in the app or in your account on lifepass.is, and everything is deleted in one step; you can download a copy first.

Is this medical or nutrition advice?

No. It is general fitness guidance, worked out by our rules and partly by AI, and it can be wrong. The Coach does not diagnose anything and does not replace your doctor. If you have a medical condition or an injury, take medication, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to a doctor before you start.
